Beechtree Media is where director/cameraman John Hoare produces corporate communications films.
John has been a director of photography for 20 years shooting commercials (Dell, British Telecom, Daily Mail), drama and corporate communications. He is now freelance as a video director specialising in information, educational and corporate communications films. He offers flexible filming options from "John + camera" for a simple piece to camera, up to complex Red One packages. He has his own Final Cut Pro edit suite. View his D.O.P. reel and D.O.P. resumé.
In addition to filmed media John brings extensive knowledge of the web and business: In 1995 he founded mandy.com, a jobs-board and yellow pages for tv technicians which receives 7.5 million impressions per month and employs 5 people. John left mandy.com in 2010 to return to his first love... production!

Ever felt frustrated when trying to assemble an Ikea wardrobe? John recently worked with Andrew Ingram of Radar Consulting, co-directing How to build a Pax Wardrobe.
A regular collaborator is Dictynna Hood at Likely Story, for whom John shot the short drama "The Other Man", winner of the British Short Film Award at the 2006 Edinburgh International Film Festival. Watch it on the BBC's Films Network.
