I've been a director of photography for 20 years shooting commercials (Dell, British Telecom, Daily Mail), drama and corporate communications. I am now freelance as a video director specialising in information and corporate communications films.

My cameraman background enables me to offer very cost effective shooting packages for simpler production briefs. Beechtree has it's own Final Cut Pro edit suite.

I own two broadcast shooting kits: PMW-500 PAL/NTSC camcorder, and a Canon 5D Mk2.

Made for Sun-San sandals in October 2011, I shot and directed this web commercial for the launch of their European distribution company.                                                                                                        
I directed this trailer to promote the UK Gospel Music Awards 2010. A nice technical challenge: lots of greenscreen, and shooting with the Canon 5Dmk2 at night in Piccadilly Circus.                                                                                                        
For Dictynna Hood at Likely Story I shot "The Other Man", winner of the British Short Film Award at the 2006 Edinburgh International Film Festival. Watch it on the BBC's Films Network.                                                                                                        
A while ago I was D.O.P. on short film Reckoning starring Kate Hardie and Ben Shockley. Shot on standard 16mm so a bit grainy, but I like it very much.
